About Us
Founded in 2020, Shramik Adhikar Aur Nyay Sangathan (SAANS) is a Chhattisgarh-based NGO that fights to end the abuse of poor sections of rural society. With emphasis on labour rights and free access to education, we educate youth to be leaders. SAANS runs three education centres in Chattisgarh’s Mahasamund, Baloda Bazar and Janjgir-Champa districts.

Our Mission:
Our Impact
SAANS has rescued 66 labourers from violence since 2020, including 26 women, 30 men and 10 children who were trafficked from Chhattisgarh to Jharkhand, Karnataka and Telangana. We aim to change more lives in the future. Here's a snapshot of the work we have done.
Our Projects
We are an active organisation that runs education centres, campaigns, training workshops, and medical drives.
Helping people avail government aid
Underserved people and communities often find it hard to access government schemes. This is also due to a lack of information about the benefits available to them. SAANS works to link underprivileged sections of society to the help they need. We help them apply and avail aid from government institutions.
Human Trafficking Awareness Campaigns
Our campaigns aim to help people stop labour trafficking and learn anti-trafficking strategies. By collaborating with key stakeholders, we organised sessions with Integrated Leadership Forum Against Trafficking, NITI Aayog, Women & Child Development Department, MPs, and IAS officials to inform people about the Trafficking of Persons Bill.
Education Centres
Our digital education centres in three districts in Chhattisgarh provide free education for migrant workers’ children. We build a safe environment for them and protect them from exploitation.
SAANS Capacity Building Training
We organise workshops to build skills for individuals. These sessions educate people about financial literacy and conflict resolution, and enhance their leadership skills.
