About Saans

Founded in 2020, Shramik Adhikar Aur Nyay Sangathan (SAANS) is a Chhattisgarh-based NGO that fights to end the abuse of poor sections of rural society. With emphasis on labour rights and free access to education, we educate youth to be leaders. SAANS runs three education centres in Chattisgarh’s Mahasamund, Baloda Bazar and Janjgir-Champa districts. We organise workshops to raise awareness among marginalised groups about their rights as labourers. SAANS is directly involved in rescue and rehabilitation of exploited migrant labourers. Here, we give the voices of exploited labourers the platform it deserves.
